Senior Manager SEC Reporting
Responsibilities
- Lead or support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures.
- Manage or assist with iXBRL/XBRL tagging, filing tie-outs, and workflow coordination in Workiva.
- Prepare or review the consolidated statement of cash flows, including indirect method calculations and related disclosure support.
- Develop and review stock-based compensation journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, and ASC 718 disclosure materials.
- Support accounting for goodwill and intangible assets, including impairment analysis, rollforwards, and related footnote disclosures.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entry review, and flux analysis.
- Prepare audit support schedules, respond to auditor questions, and help document key accounting judgments and controls.
Skills
- CPA certification is required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a public company environment or supporting public company clients.
- Proven experience owning or supporting the full lifecycle of 10-K and/or 10-Q filings.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 718, ASC 230, ASC 350, and ASC 360.
- Working understanding of SEC reporting requirements, including Regulation S-X and S-K, as well as PCAOB standards.
- Hands-on experience with Workiva for filing workflows, tie-outs, and XBRL/iXBRL tagging.
- Proficiency in NetSuite for ledger review, journal entry activity, and report extraction.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with equity reporting tools such as Carta, E*TRADE Equity Edge, Morgan Stanley, or similar systems.
- Background supporting technical accounting questions and complex disclosure preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with finance, audit, and cross-functional partners.

The pay range for this role is $62 - $100 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
