About the role
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Schedule Integration (SIOP Lead) to join our Scheduling & Material Planning (SMP) functional Center of Excellence at our Mason, Ohio facility leading SIOP for the Advance Effects Sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the site’s demand planning and master scheduling strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer commitments, and program deliverables.
- Provide leadership and oversight for the development and maintenance of accurate demand plans across an 18–24 month rolling horizon.
- Direct the consolidation and analysis of demand inputs from multiple sources, including Sales Orders, Forecasts, Follow-On production, Repair & Overhaul (R&O), and Engineering IRAD activities.
- Ensure alignment between factory master schedules and program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) milestones, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation plans.
- Lead and facilitate SIOP processes and reviews, enabling cross-functional alignment on demand, supply, capacity, and execution priorities.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, and Business Development leaders to evaluate future demand scenarios and translate requirements into executable plans.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting tools related to forecasting accuracy, demand planning, schedule attainment, and SIOP effectiveness.
- Drive gap identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of planning and scheduling issues through cross-functional collaboration and escalation as needed.
- Present planning insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership to support informed decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and planning excellence.
- Serve as a change leader for supply chain planning best practices, influencing broader organizational adoption of standard processes, tools, and governance.
- Oversee strategic and ad hoc projects sponsored by site leadership, program management, or the broader organization.
- Support functional talent development, organizational capability building, and succession planning within the planning and scheduling organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, including leadership experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of10 years of prior related experience, including leadership experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience, including leadership experience.
- 10 years proven experience in demand planning, master scheduling, SIOP, and/or integrated planning within the aerospace and defense industry.
- 7-10 years Demonstrated success leading teams and cross-functional initiatives in a complex manufacturing or operations environment.
- 10 years of in-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles, integrated business planning, capacity planning, and risk management.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with and influence senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
- APICS or other relevant supply chain certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
- Experience with Repair & Overhaul (R&O) planning.
- Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and production scheduling in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong project and change management skills with a track record of leading organizational transformation.
- Experience developing high-performing teams and implementing process improvements across planning and operations functions.
