Qualtrics · Reston, VA · 2 wk ago
$240k–$315k/yrFull-time

About the role

At Qualtrics, we create software the world’s best brands use to deliver exceptional frontline experiences, build high-performing teams, and design products people love. The Senior Manager, Product Management will lead the Locations team within Customer Experience product management, responsible for the Frontline product serving location-based businesses (hospitality, QSR, retail). This leader will drive the strategy and execution to scale our suite of products supporting location-based businesses in our priority industry verticals. This part of our business is at an inflection point, and we are looking for a strategic, curious, and high-agency leader to take it to the next level as we continue to expand our global footprint of world-class customers.

This role requires expertise in product craft, familiarity with continuous/real-time product loops, and a player-coach mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy for our Location CX Product suite, including purpose-built applications for frontline users, Online Reputation Management, Social listening, Location data intelligence, and a location-level insight engine that identifies customer experience gaps using statistical analysis.
  • Raise the bar for product management craft at Qualtrics by coaching and mentoring a team of high-performing Product Managers and product scientists, helping teams define the right measurements, goals, and outcomes.
  • Drive clarity across the organization with a Qualtrics-first mentality when collaborating with platform, GTM, Ops, and legal teams, improving justification and tradeoff decisions.
  • Reinvent how product teams operate by leveraging AI as the default way to move from idea to working artifact—prototyping in code, synthesizing user research, generating test cases, and critically evaluating AI outputs.
  • Lead, empower, and mentor a team of product managers, fostering accountability and career growth.
  • Navigate ambiguity by charting a path forward through rapid discovery, continuous learning, and turning complex technological shifts into executable product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate generously to bridge gaps between technical teams (applied science/engineering) and cross-functional partners (legal, privacy, go-to-market).
  • Engage regularly with customers to translate their pain points into robust, scalable capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven PM Leadership: Extensive experience in product management, including a track record (>3 years) of directly managing, coaching, and developing other product managers, with 10+ total years in product management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and execute product strategy end-to-end.
  • Experience managing and executing organizational change.
  • Success in scaling businesses and products from 1 → N.
  • Expertise in product craft, with a deep understanding of product-led organizational cultures and high agency.
  • Familiarity with continuous/real-time product loops and AI-driven product development.
  • Ability to work across distributed teams (Seattle, Reston, Krakow) with timezone flexibility.

About the team

The Location team is at the heart of growth for our CX business, applying technology and AI in real-world settings at scale. The team is distributed across Seattle, Reston, and Krakow, requiring timezone flexibility and respect for collaboration. We work closely with sister teams (platform, Core AI) to execute joint initiatives and prioritize a customer-first approach, serving as product sponsors for our most important brands.

Benefits

  • Experience Bonus: Annual $1,800 “experience bonus” for US employees to fund personal experiences like travel, events, or supporting nonprofits/small businesses.
  • Opportunity to empower large networks through technology and work with influential brands.
  • Role that encourages personal growth and initiative within a high-growth business area.
  • Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, a wellness reimbursement, mental health benefits, and restricted stock units.

Pay

Virginia base annual pay range: $240,000—$315,000 USD. Base pay may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer.

Schedule

Qualtrics hybrid work model: In-office three days a week (Mondays, Thursdays, and one leader-selected day) for collaboration and innovation. Remote work allowed for the remaining two days.
