Senior Manager, Product Application

About the role

We are seeking a collaborative and influential Senior Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Product Application group in Conyers, GA. This role focuses on enhancing front-end processes—including designing, quoting, and securing orders—with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and building a consultative team of Product Application Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service-level agreements for quote lead time and on-time delivery are met, and establish robust communication protocols for quotes or orders outside these agreements.
• Distribute workload effectively by understanding team members' strengths and development areas, fostering empowerment and accountability.
• Drive collaborative, cross-functional process improvements, identify automation opportunities, and lead automation projects to reduce cost to serve.
• Coach and develop Product Application associates into consultative sales partners, enhancing customer experiences to build loyalty and revenue.
• Improve data speed and quality using Daily Management outputs and tools to provide actionable insights for addressing key challenges and opportunities.
• Serve as the point person for new product or feature introductions, ensuring seamless integration into front-end processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the HVAC/R industry.
• 7–10 years of experience in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product application.
• Process improvement certifications such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles.
