Responsibilities
- Evaluates and sources electrical equipment for solar projects such as modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Participates in the procurement process from initial evaluation through contract negotiation and supplier selection.
- Manages relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and project management to optimize procurement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and managing large-scale projects.
- Experience with solar industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and project tracking.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
