Senior Manager, Procurement
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement to join our Corporate Procurement team based in Oak Brook, Illinois. In this role, you will lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across a complex portfolio of MRO and Facility Services spend, helping drive cost savings, strengthen supplier performance, and support enterprise-wide business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across MRO and Facility Services spend
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, and operational efficiencies
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs and demand planning priorities
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contracts, performance management, and ongoing governance
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and benchmarking data to inform sourcing decisions and category strategies
- Monitor spend, support forecasting, and track performance against financial and operational targets
- Identify and mitigate supply, pricing, and supplier-related risks
- Drive procurement best practices, compliance, and process improvements across assigned categories
- Build strong relationships across plant operations, quality, health & safety, and corporate functions to support enterprise objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 7 years or more of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain
- Experience supporting indirect procurement categories, with MRO, Facility Services, or related operational spend experience strongly preferred
- Experience in CPG, food manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or a related environment preferred
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including category management, RFx, supplier analysis, contract negotiations, and total cost of ownership
- Experience with SAP, SpendHQ, or similar ERP / spend analytics tools preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, project management, and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Preferred

Pay
The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $122,600 to $184,000 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs.
