Overview

We are seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to build and lead our procurement function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for designing processes, implementing tools, and delivering measurable cost savings across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Function
    • Design and implement source-to-pay processes
    • Select and deploy procurement tools and templates
    • Establish reporting (dashboards, savings tracking, renewal pipeline and vendor management programs)
    • Conduct spend analysis and create a centralized contract repository
  • Drive Strategic Sourcing
    • Lead RFPs and competitive bids
    • Negotiate contracts across all indirect spend categories
    • Manage SaaS/IT renewals and conduct supplier risk assessments
    • Track and report savings with clear methodology
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Enforce finance policies and approval workflows
    • Partner with IT and Legal on risk, security, and contracts
    • Establish procurement governance frameworks
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and expand reach
    • Serve as procurement subject matter expert
    • Train teams on processes and tools

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in procurement/strategic sourcing across multiple categories
  • Experience building or transforming procurement functions
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Experience with procurement tools (P2P, S2P, CLM)
  • Working knowledge of contract fundamentals
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

Preferred

  • AI tool usage in procurement (contract analysis, spend analytics, market insights)
  • Retail/consumer industry experience
  • Familiarity with tools like Procurify, Tropic, or similar
  • Procurement certifications (CPSM, CPM, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work, prolonged periods of time working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Ability to communicate information and observe details at close range.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required

Salary Range

USD $130,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr.
