About the Role
We are partnering with a leading fund administrator to find an experienced Senior Manager to lead the delivery of fund accounting and administration services for a portfolio of private equity clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee fund accounting and administration for private equity funds and related investment vehicles.
- Act as a senior relationship contact for clients, managing service delivery and resolving complex accounting matters.
- Review NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, management fees, carried interest, and investor allocations.
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate year-end audits, tax reporting, and other client deliverables.
- Lead new fund launches, client onboarding, and fund conversions.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of fund accounting professionals.
- Monitor workflows, deadlines, and service levels across multiple client relationships.
- Partner with internal teams, auditors, tax advisers, and other third-party providers.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve processes, and enhance client service.
Requirements
- Extensive private equity fund accounting experience within a third-party fund administrator.
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, waterfalls, carried interest, and investor allocations.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and multiple deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Previous experience leading and developing fund accounting teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- CPA or another relevant professional qualification is preferred.
