About the role
The Senior Preconstruction Manager at Clark Pacific drives business growth and project success by leading preconstruction engagements for prefabricated systems and products. This role involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, managing preconstruction activities, and partnering with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Exercise professional and confidential conduct when interacting with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
- Lead and manage preconstruction engagements across multiple markets.
- Develop and execute deal strategies, including client engagement, rough quantity takeoffs, ROM estimates, and coordination of deliverables.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and industry partners.
- Support long-range business planning and align preconstruction efforts with Clark Pacific's strategic growth objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish sales goals, business development strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, new construction technologies, and innovative building solutions to enhance Clark Pacific's competitive position.
- Increase market share, revenue growth, and profitability through strategic project pursuits and client engagement.
- Participate in industry organizations, conferences, technical forums, and networking events to strengthen Clark Pacific's presence in the market.
- Partner with internal teams including Estimating, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Field Operations to support successful project pursuits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
- Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
- Experience leading preconstruction efforts and managing high-value project pursuits.
- Experience with collaborative Design Assist or Design-Build project delivery methods preferred.
- Broad knowledge of structural building systems and construction methodologies.
- Strong understanding of architecture, engineering, and building design principles.
