Senior Manager, Planning Operations - LSA
About the role
The Senior Manager, Planning Operations is a trusted partner to the cluster Planning Lead & channel leads of US & Canada and LATAM, helping drive the Planning strategy and vision for the clusters. Reporting into the Senior Director, Planning Operations, this role combines operations management, business analysis, and project management for Merchandise Planning and Inventory Management (MPIM) teams. This role requires financial acumen and knowledge of end-to-end planning to drive strategic initiatives and provide analytical support.
Responsibilities
- Support Cluster MPIM lead to set top-down seasonal investment strategy and align stakeholders to an aligned common plan.
- Use Planning expertise to identify key business opportunities and risks and make sound recommendations to Senior Management.
- Collaborate with the Global Operation team to align on the key MPIM milestones for clusters.
- Own the cluster planning CtC calendar and collaborate with the Merchandising Operations and Sales Operations teams to define timelines and provide monthly guidelines to the Merch Planning team for all deliverables.
- Facilitate and drive OTB and forecast review meetings, challenge MPIM Channel leads on their OTB inputs, and provide monthly guidelines for forecast transmission.
- Propose and develop new processes in collaboration with the cluster merch planning teams, sizing teams, and inventory management teams to harmonize ways of working across the department.
- Participate and drive key regional / global projects to capture clusters requirements and drive implementation of new tools/capabilities (AI), systems, ways of working.
Requirements
This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Master degree in Business Management
- Experience: 6+ years' experience in a retail or wholesale planning environment
- Experience in sales and operations environment
- Specialized/Technical Skills: Strong Project management skills, Experience with financial measurements and how to impact them, Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Word, Visio, and Jira

Pay
The expected starting salary range for this role is $135,200 - $198,300 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
