Senior Manager, Operations

The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field and departmental operations, ensuring efficient planning, resource allocation, and execution across projects. This role leads team development, drives customer satisfaction, and supports financial performance through strong leadership, operational discipline, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Operational Oversight: Forecast what is to be done on a week-to-week basis, when, and by whom
• Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximize efficiency
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and operational data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and results
• OPS Compliance: Utilize the OPS System, monitor work authorizations, and share manpower, resources, and tools across branches as needed
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, coach, and lead personnel across the organization, building a high-performing and growth-oriented team environment
• Customer Relations & Service: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers to promote trust, satisfaction, and repeat business
• Financial Management & Profitability: Drive productivity in field operations, achieve minimum budgeted net profit for branch, and manage billing and collections
• Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination: Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task and uphold safety as the most important goal of our company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) preferred
• 10+ years experience in engineering, project management, or technical leadership
• Past leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with electrical power distribution, motion control, and project management tools

Skills

Physical Requirements

Office and field environment requiring sitting and standing. Travel to various work sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise and the need to stand and walk.
