Job Description Summary
The Senior Manager, Operations, reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and effective patient care through all operational aspects in an Option Care CMC while meeting all corporate compliance and other established rules and regulations governing the healthcare industry. The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for assisting the Sr. Director, Operations to meet operational and financial goals for the location. CMCs will use this Operation position when the Sr. Director has 2 or more CMCs to manage. The Sr. Manager Operations will have oversight of non-regionalized functions within the CMC, including Pharmacy, Nursing, and non-clinical support functions.
Job Description
Assists with operational performance of the center including efficient, effective, and high quality delivery of services and patient care.
- Maintains effective collaboration with all functional departments to ensure effective onboarding of patients.
- Operates as the liaison between sales and operations to ensure referral sources, patients, and managed care partners are highly satisfied with services delivered.
- PARTNERS WITH SALES TO DRIVE MARKET DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTE MARKET BASED SALES STRATEGY
- IMPLEMENTS AND MONITORS ADOPTION OF CORPORATE INITIATIVES TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL AND COST-EFFECTIVE OPERATIONS
- MANAGES CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI) PROCESS FOR ALL THE ASSIGNED CMCS
- DRIVES FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE LOCAL CMC THROUGH SUPPLY CHAIN INVENTORY OPTIMIZATION, MANAGING CONTROLLABLE EXPENSES, REDUCING BAD DEBT (CLAIMS ON HOLD), AND ACCURATE PATIENT REGISTRATION AND ONBOARDING
- ENSURES COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS, ACCREDITATION STANDARDS AND CORPORATE POLICIES TO DRIVE EFFECTIVENESS AND CONSISTENCY IN OPERATIONS
- MAINTAINS A WORK ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH STAFF WILL SUCCEED AND GROW IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE OVERALL SUCCESS OF OPTION CARE.
- CONSISTENTLY MODELS BEHAVIORS THAT BUILD OUR CULTURE AROUND THE OPTION CARE CORE VALUES OF COMPASSIONATE CARE, ENGAGED TEAMS AND QUALITY RESULTS.
- OBSERVES LEGAL AND ETHICAL GUIDELINES FOR SAFEGUARDING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT AND PROPRIETARY OPTION CARE DATA.
- MONITORS ADHERENCE TO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, AUDITING AS NECESSARY.
- COMPLETES ALL REQUIRED PROJECTS AND REPORTS IN A TIMELY FASHION ON A DAILY, WEEKLY OR MONTHLY BASIS PER THE DIRECTION OF THE LEADERSHIP.
- DEVELOPS, MONITORS, COACHES AND MANAGES STAFF, ENSURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMPLOYEES THROUGH ORIENTATION, TRAINING ESTABLISHING OBJECTIVES, COMMUNICATION OF RULES, CONSTRUCTIVE DISCIPLINE. Builds employee morale, motivation and loyalty and fosters a team-like environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and/or High School Diploma at least 5 years of experience in health care services/operations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience collaborating with internal resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 year of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business-related field.
Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $132,267.37-$220,445.61
