About the role

Within HP’s PC division, the marketing team is looking for a seasoned marketer who can drive development and execution of business-building marketing strategies. You will lead partner marketing strategy across Consumer, Commercial, and Gaming lines of business, including messaging and initiatives across a large portfolio of HP’s Alliance Partners. Our partnerships with brands like Intel, Microsoft, AMD, Google, Nvidia, Qualcomm, and more help drive innovation and benefits for customers. This position is essential in bringing those partnerships together for success.

You will provide insights based on market, customer, and business opportunities, guiding partnership strategies that are customer-centric. You will work closely with Category and Sales teams to build end-to-end programs that deliver Partner strategies and collaborate with our internal Alliances organization to execute them.

The ideal candidate will have experience cutting through silos, aligning cross-organizational initiatives, and delivering successful execution. They should be creative, persuasive, analytical, and passionate about building relationships and collaborating with partners.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Personal Systems and Alliance Marketing, you will work with a global team of marketing professionals to implement your strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Help craft an inspiring and dynamic partner marketing strategy, positioning, and messaging that sets HP apart from the competition.
  • Break down barriers and silos to create a consolidated strategy that empowers go-to-market (GTM) execution.
  • Develop and evangelize clear assets outlining the value proposition, narrative, and messaging to drive globally understood initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Business Units, and Category teams to build a clear marketing vision and strategy for key partners, delivering distinct and differentiated positioning in the market.
  • Strategically prove concepts that expand opportunities for partnerships and deliver mutual benefit.
  • Work closely with GTM teams to drive efficient strategies, manage budgets, support revenue generation, and sales growth with a market-centric approach.
  • Cultivate internal excitement for the team’s efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in B2C and B2B marketing roles.
  • Experience in or extreme curiosity about Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
  • Imagination coupled with relentless results-orientation.
  • Expertise in value proposition development, campaign creation, and execution.
  • Experience working closely with GTM teams to design and deliver impactful programs.
  • Strong storytelling and narrative skills, with the ability to craft connections.
  • Agile, flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • A collaborative leader experienced in working within a matrix structure.

Qualifications

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
  • Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing, partner, sales, industry, channel, or a related field.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually, with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
