Key Responsibilities
- Act as a delegate to the Director, Supply Chain Finance, representing the function in cross-functional and executive forums as needed.
- Drive financial insights and recommendations that shape decisions across manufacturing operations, supply chain strategy, and long-term profitability.
- Lead development of executive-ready materials for GMFR, LRFP, Business Plan, and leadership reviews, ensuring a clear and consistent financial narrative.
- Integrate and synthesize financial performance across site finance (Raritan, Ghent) and Network FP&A to deliver a unified, enterprise-level view.
- Ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency across forecasting, reporting, and planning processes.
- Translate site-level drivers into actionable insights for above-site and executive stakeholders.
- Lead financial strategy for COGS optimization, partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement.
- Develop and maintain driver-based financial models to evaluate cost initiatives, capacity investments, and operational trade-offs.
- Provide forward-looking scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions and risk mitigation.
- Own and drive monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning (LRFP) for manufacturing and supply chain performance.
- Deliver clear variance analysis and performance insights, ensuring alignment with corporate expectations and financial targets.
- Embed discipline and rigor in financial processes, assumptions, and performance tracking.
- Lead financial oversight of collaboration agreements and external partnerships, including full product P&L modeling and profitability analysis.
- Support financial governance, alignment, and issue resolution with external stakeholders (e.g., cost allocation, asset ownership, and reporting requirements).
- Oversee CMO financial planning and forecasting, including scenario modeling and spend optimization.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and scalable tools across FP&A and reporting processes.
- Drive standardization of methodologies across sites and Network FP&A to enhance comparability and efficiency.
- Operate with a continuous improvement mindset, elevating the overall capability of Supply Chain Finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required
- MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, manufacturing finance, or related fields.
- Proven experience in business partnering within manufacturing or supply chain environments, preferably in life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in matrixed, global organizations and influence stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Experience supporting executive-level decision-making (VP/CFO level) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of SOX controls and audit processes preferred.
- Ability to operate as a trusted advisor and proxy leader, with strong ownership and accountability.
- Proven capability to influence without authority and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strong business judgment, with the ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and operational drivers.
- Experience driving process improvements, automation, and transformation initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP and BI tools preferred.
