Senior Manager Network Control Group (L4)

Position Summary

Responsible for leading and optimizing the network operations to ensure maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry regulations. This role involves strategic oversight, team leadership, and continuous improvement of the network operations, supporting the company’s goals and enhancing overall performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategic Network Management: Develop and implement strategic plans for network operations to optimize routes, schedules, and capacity utilization
• Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day network operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable transportation of goods and passengers
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of network controllers and planners, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network operations, such as on-time performance, capacity utilization, and cost efficiency
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for network optimization
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, including logistics, operations, customer service, and external partners, to ensure cohesive network operations and resolve any issues that arise
• Compliance: Ensure all network operations comply with aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance, reduce costs, and improve service quality
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions
• Customer Focus: Work closely with the customer service team to address customer concerns related to network operations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on network performance, strategic initiatives, and operational challenges to senior management

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in network operations, logistics, or a related field, with significant experience in the aviation industry
• Ability to work a variety of shifts within a 24 hour operation
• Travel >15%

Ancillary Qualifications

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, PMP) is highly desirable
• Work experience in a scholarly environment and information industry
