About the Role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Learning Design & Innovation to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Instructional Design team through coaching and performance management
- Oversee the design execution and quality of learning solutions from discovery to implementation
- Translate Learning Design strategy into actionable team practices and development standards
- Identify and implement AI solutions that enhance learning design and efficiency
- Advance innovative learning approaches such as gamification and simulations
- Lead pilots and proofs of concept to evaluate new learning strategies
- Scale successful innovations across the Learning and Development team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in learning and development or instructional design roles
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing learning professionals
- Strong background in developing medium- to large-scale learning initiatives
- Proven expertise in adult learning principles and learner-centered design practices
- Experience with AI-enabled learning solutions and emerging technologies
- Capability to manage projects and balance competing priorities effectively

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $119,000 – $119,000 annually
