Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a small team of cloud engineers, overseeing hiring and performance reviews
- Facilitate team stand-ups, planning, and backlog refinement to define actionable work items
- Prepare weekly status reports for leadership regarding team progress and priorities
- Act as the primary contact for infrastructure service requests and escalations
- Collect requirements and feedback for implementing new systems and policy changes
- Provide hands-on support with Kubernetes guidance, automation, and troubleshooting
- Review team pull requests and assist with problem diagnosis
Qualifications
- 7+ years in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure
- 3+ years of direct people management experience leading technical teams
- Experience operating critical production-level SaaS products on Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Linux environments and troubleshooting at all stack levels
- Strong knowledge of web protocols and foundational technologies
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code, ideally with Terraform
- Fluent in at least one high-level programming language and one scripting language
