Accountabilities
- Lead and manage a distributed IT team of engineers and support analysts, establishing clear goals, performance standards, and operating processes.
- Define and execute a modern IT strategy focused on scalability, automation, security, and employee experience.
- Own the full IT technology stack, including identity management, device lifecycle, internal tooling, and support operations.
- Drive modernization initiatives by identifying and eliminating technical debt, consolidating tools, and improving system efficiency.
- Architect and optimize identity and access management solutions, including provisioning, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and access reviews.
- Establish and improve service level agreements, support processes, and operational metrics across IT services.
- Partner with security teams to strengthen endpoint protection, authentication, compliance practices, and risk management.
- Lead cross-functional technology projects, including platform migrations, integrations, and process automation initiatives.
- Explore and implement AI-driven opportunities to enhance IT operations, automation, and employee support experiences.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is an experienced IT leader with a strong background in modern enterprise technology environments.
- You should have experience leading teams, improving IT operations, and implementing scalable solutions while maintaining a strong focus on security and user experience.
- Proven experience leading IT teams in fast-paced, distributed, or remote-first environments.
- Experience managing IT modernization initiatives, including rebuilding processes, reducing technical debt, and improving operational maturity.
- Deep expertise with identity and access management platforms, particularly Okta.
- Strong knowledge of modern device management solutions such as Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Atlassian tools, and enterprise productivity platforms.
- Strong understanding of IT support operations, Tier 1/2 support, device lifecycle management, endpoint security, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects, including migrations, integrations, and identity initiatives.
- Automation-first mindset with experience improving workflows through technology and process optimization.
- Security awareness and experience partnering with security teams on audits, access reviews, incident response, and compliance initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions, prioritize effectively, and maintain high standards while supporting business growth.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI applications for IT operations and employee enablement.
