About the role
We are seeking an experienced Leader to manage the HP Dimension end-to-end, combining deep subject-matter expertise with a passion for innovation and a commitment to driving results in a dynamic environment. This role is responsible for enabling Market Quota and achieving key business metrics, including Unit, Revenue, and Margin growth—both short- and long-term—through effective Category and Business Management. Hosted by the Collaboration Systems Category organization, the position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and leaders, including Category Leaders, GBU Product Management, Digital & Software Organization, Category Ops, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Markets, and Business Units. The role frequently interfaces with C-level executives across HP.
As a recognized authority in the field, you will contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas, operate in complex disciplines, and provide highly innovative solutions. You will lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects that impact the organization’s long-term goals, mentor subordinates, and exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives. The role includes setting functional policy and direction, acting as a functional manager, and driving strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team of Product and Business Development.
- Own and manage the relationship with the Google Beam team.
- Manage alliance partner relationships—Zoom and Microsoft—for HP 3D Immersive Collaboration Solution.
- Set goals for Markets, including Pricing Management and approvals.
- Enable Markets to deliver on their targets through in-quarter business management.
- Facilitate Pricing and PFVD (Price, Volume, Deal) processes.
- Drive growth plans and initiatives with Markets, providing business insights and operational efficiency projects.
- Maintain constant communication and cross-collaboration with Markets.
- Develop high-impact business plans to execute business strategies (e.g., new growth initiatives, cost reduction).
- Lead complex business planning initiatives, including global projects and cross-business unit levels.
- Direct and prioritize large, highly complex business planning projects, monitoring deliverables and milestones while developing contingencies to minimize risks.
- Partner with business leaders on risk management, implementation tactics, and new opportunity development.
- Oversee budget management for multiple, complex plans and projects, ensuring adherence to stated budgets.
- Guide the development of project guidelines, plans, objectives, and deliverables.
- Influence high-level business leaders by presenting compelling analyses and recommendations to optimize business performance.
- Orchestrate multiple large cross-functional teams and communications to ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide innovative thought leadership and shape the knowledge base across multiple businesses, functions, or regions.
- Oversee and manage the allocation of tools and resources to support team efforts.
- Actively contribute to and lead the definition of the category business plan.
- Establish relationships and represent the team with the sales force and other partners at a senior level.
- Hold product line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range or a specific customer segment.
- Assume functional responsibility for the team in areas such as market analysis, marketing engagement, and communication.
- Identify areas of organic and inorganic growth to ensure sustained future growth for HP Dimension, including next-generation and different form-factor products.
- Drive the Business Development Managers team to identify, create viability, and facilitate markets in executing growth plans and initiatives.
- Create business capacity in Markets through deep data analytics and commercial business landscape insights.
- Incorporate growth opportunities into 4P plans (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) by building business cases and integrating extended functional and GBU teams for program management.
- Jointly develop short-term and long-term business plans with Markets.
- Plan investments with Markets and facilitate sponsorship from Management.
- Analyze external challenges (e.g., competitive, currency, political, macro-economic, EOH, tactical sell-through) and build mitigation plans.
- Comprehensive Program Management of Deals, including integration of Global Deals, Contractual Signed Deals, and Enterprise Named Account Funnel to align product allocation.
- Implement the Silver Bullet process for deal allocation prioritization and guardrails for global/big deals.
- Implement a unified WW deal tracker (teaming with BMS) and improve the deal capture process (e.g., integrate with HP Dynamics).
- Orchestrate program management to encourage Markets to identify adjacencies and drive capacity creation, such as:
- Verticals coverage plans, product propositions with GBU and Google teams, and establishing business cases with TAM and returns.
- Geo Expansion plans with Markets (e.g., specific country growth plans, System Integrators expansion).
- Government, Federal, and Public Sector expansion plans compliant with each Market’s buying process.
- Contractual business programs, including the development of new business opportunities like Subscription models.
Qualifications
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in product marketing, product design, or a related field.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $160,000 to $220,850 USD annually, with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
