About the Role

Christie’s is looking for a dynamic and exceptional senior manager to join the Global Content & Marketing team. This position reports directly to the Global Head of Content, Creative, and Social and will play a pivotal role in expanding our brand footprint, delivering on our marketing objectives, and positioning Christie’s with people of influence across art, design, luxury, and our wide breadth of categories. Additionally, this role will assist our internal staff with social media efforts. A successful candidate will be well-versed in social media, influencer engagement, and content, including familiarity with contracts, identifying emerging talent, and project-managing campaigns. Previous experience and demonstrable success with campaigns and/or talent management is essential. A natural understanding and interest in the world of auction is recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Help elevate and expand the social media footprint of Christie’s with a focus on content partnerships and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to identify and engage relevant talent (internal and external) to expand the Christie’s brand and deliver on our marketing objectives.
  • Oversee all influencer activity and serve as the main liaison between all talent, both internal and external.
  • Proactively negotiate rates, exclusivity, contracts, and relevant details of any external partnerships.
  • Plan and manage budgets related to influencer campaigns.
  • Create succinct briefs for engaged influencers that clearly outline expectations, messaging, deliverables, and timing.
  • Project-manage all aspects of influencer programs from inception to post-mortem.
  • Actively communicate with internal departments—including specialists, communications executives, and leadership—to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Spearhead metrics and reporting to track successes and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in influencer engagement, social media strategy, and/or digital talent management within the luxury or arts spheres.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifts in priorities and the nuances of the auction business.
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role, whether in agency or in-house.
  • An existing network of relevant contacts and previous partners.
  • Experience in delivering content and/or influencer strategies directly tied to marketing objectives.
  • Understanding and interest in shifting trends of social, content, and digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of metrics and reporting as it relates to influencer marketing.
  • Natural interest in the world of art and auction.

Pay

Salary: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00. Posted salary range does not include discretionary bonus compensation and/or overtime pay.
