About the role

The Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing will build and lead Airwallex’s global influencer strategy, driving virality around major brand and product moments, and scaling the systems and partnerships needed to operate at scale across key markets.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own Airwallex’s global influencer and creator roadmap across various platforms.
  • Shape strategies for major launches, campaigns, and cultural moments to drive brand awareness, engagement, and virality.
  • Identify and engage high-impact creators across diverse niches to authentically champion the brand.
  • Develop systems, workflows, and tooling for creator sourcing, outreach, contracting, approvals, tracking, and reporting.
  • Lead end-to-end relationship management with top-tier influencers and agents, setting expectations for performance and ensuring consistent brand safety and messaging.
  • Define success metrics and oversee dashboards and reporting frameworks, using insights to continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Product Marketing, Comms/PR, Social, Regional Marketing, and Executive Leadership to integrate influencer initiatives into broader brand and product strategies.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Procurement to streamline global creator operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, digital marketing, or brand marketing (preferred in startup or high-growth tech).
  • Proven track record driving large-scale influencer campaigns that create real cultural impact and measurable growth.
  • Deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem, platform dynamics, and what drives virality.
  • Experience managing global markets or multi-country campaigns.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Operational excellence - ability to design systems, processes, and frameworks that scale globally.
  • Ability to move fast, thrive in ambiguity, and execute with precision under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, payments, B2B SaaS.
  • Relationships with top-tier creators, agents, and podcast networks.
  • Experience building a global influencer program from scratch.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and turn insights into action.
