Senior Manager, Foodservice Distribution

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Foodservice Distribution to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Food & Beverages environment.

Responsibilities

• Own senior HQ-level relationships with national broadline distributors
• Lead national Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and engagement cycles
• Negotiate national distributor contracts including pricing and trade fund allowances
• Drive distribution and program execution across the distributor network
• Position the company as a strategic growth partner for distributors
• Operate as the connection between the company's strategy and distributor execution
• Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of commercial/distributor-facing experience in CPG or foodservice; broadline distributor experience preferred
• Proven P&L or distributor-book ownership at $100M+ scale
• Direct experience with national broadline distributors like Sysco or US Foods
• Strong senior customer-facing presence with proven negotiation skills
• Ability to navigate complex distributor organizations and drive results through influence
• Cross-functional fluency across various departments such as R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $139,100 – $191,300 annually
