About the role
This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Support preparation of SEC filings including managing the review process with auditors and management
- Prepare or review quarterly financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Manage quarterly reporting and auditor review processes for timely completion
- Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations related to equity transactions
- Lead research and documentation of technical accounting under US GAAP
- Stay updated on accounting standards and assess impacts to financial statements
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in financial reporting
Requirements
- BA or BS in finance/accounting, CPA
- 6-8 years of financial reporting and technical accounting experience in technology or public accounting
- Experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718 and E*TRADE Equity Edge Online
- Strong analytical skills and written communication
- Proactive, accountable team player
- Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace
- Experience with automation or AI tools is a plus
Pay
$154,400 – $206,667 annually
