Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of SEC filings including managing the review process with auditors and management
• Prepare or review quarterly financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Manage quarterly reporting and auditor review processes for timely completion
• Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations related to equity transactions
• Lead research and documentation of technical accounting under US GAAP
• Stay updated on accounting standards and assess impacts to financial statements
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in financial reporting

Requirements

• BA or BS in finance/accounting, CPA
• 6-8 years of financial reporting and technical accounting experience in technology or public accounting
• Experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718 and E*TRADE Equity Edge Online
• Strong analytical skills and written communication
• Proactive, accountable team player
• Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace
• Experience with automation or AI tools is a plus

Pay

$154,400 – $206,667 annually
