Senior Manager, Financial Reporting or Assistant Controller

Boston, MA – hybrid role (3 days onsite per week in the Seaport).

About the role

Oversee corporate accounting, general ledger, month-end close, technical accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for a digital pathology and AI company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the general ledger process, monthly close, and revenue recognition activities.
• Oversee billing, collections, accounts payable, and employee expenses.
• Manage two direct reports within the accounting function.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and international reporting.
• Lead technical accounting analysis and support financial reporting integration workstreams.
• Support FP&A, budgeting, internal controls, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Public accounting experience and/or CPA required.
• Revenue recognition and ASC 606 experience required.
• SaaS industry experience required.
• Experience overseeing corporate accounting, GL, close, technical accounting, and reporting.
• Management experience required.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.

Pay

$150,000–$170,000 base salary plus bonus.
