About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech – Supply Chain is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Engineering – Americas Deliver Excellence. This role serves as the single point of accountability for the Americas engineering footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Pan-Regional Leadership & Organizational Alignment
  • Direct and manage the Americas engineering organizational footprint.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, motivation, and professional development of engineering staff across the Americas.
  • Foster and encourage inclusiveness, diversity, and collaborative knowledge-sharing between NA and LATAM facilities.
  • Early-Stage Project Governance & Strategy
  • Serve as the primary Engineering stakeholder and authority in early-stage decision-making, architectural design, and project inception meetings.
  • Drive the long-term adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Operational Infrastructure, Asset Management & Risk Mitigation
  • Provide proactive technical management and leadership to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable facilities.
  • Establish strict engineering documentation standards.
  • Resource Management & Capacity Scaling
  • Develop comprehensive regional business plans.
  • Monitor regional engineering workloads and strategically manage a pipeline of external contractors and vendors.
  • Optimize internal engineering focus.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Engineering or related area of study preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience. Engineering experience, with a proven track record of managing multi-site distribution automation, robotics, or complex control systems.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach professional engineering teams. Well-developed presentation and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across international borders.

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $122,000.00 - $212,750.00
