Senior Manager, Editorial Advertising Operations
About The Position
As the Senior Manager, Editorial Advertising Operations, you will be responsible for packaging, operationalizing, and executing digital editorial sponsorship offerings on behalf of our advertising partners across iconic brands like Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, Allrecipes, People, and more. In collaboration with the Brand Marketing, Account Strategy, and Editorial teams, you'll work across advertiser categories and content spanning video, social, audio, and on-site.
Hybrid 3x a week (New York, NY or Seattle, WA)
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
About The Team
Edit Solutions is a centralized, brand-aligned team that supports the packaging, operationalization, and execution of sold digital editorial sponsorships across People Inc.’s Lifestyle and Entertainment portfolio. We partner closely with Brand Marketing, Editorial, Video, Social, Sales, and Client Services to translate sold programs into scalable plans, build the infrastructure required for execution, and deliver clear launch guidance across on-site and off-platform channels.
The Positions' Contributions
- Partner with Brand Marketing, Account Strategy and Editorial teams to: Develop new packages and refine existing offerings
- Define and document editorial packaging details, with a focus on post-sale efficiency
- Act as the main point of contact for these teams during the pitch phase to vet opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of site capabilities, advertiser expectations, and disclosure requirements
- Ensure efficient hand-offs of sold editorial packages to the assigned post-sale project manager and assist throughout the lifecycle of the campaign as needed
- Maintain working knowledge of standard digital ad solutions and organizational policies
- Identify and develop solutions for process gaps and inefficiencies, with an eye toward scalability
- Project manage campaigns from sale through launch: Assess contractual obligations and translate them into launch deliverables
- Cook up across multiple internal teams (Editorial, Video, Social, Account Strategy, and Sales) to ensure flawless execution of sold editorial sponsorships
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications And Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field, or combined relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, digital media, marketing, product management, or project coordination.
- Experience developing and managing production timelines to facilitate work across multiple teams.
- Experience in the use of collaboration software, such as Airtable, preferred but not required.
- High attention to detail with consistent follow-through.
- Be able to think strategically and act tactically. Willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done to solve problems independently and creatively.

Pay Range
- New York: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00
- Washington: $81,000.00 - $100,000.00
