Senior Manager, ECM Policy & Portfolio Analytics
About the role
We're seeking a data-driven and hands-on Manager / Sr Manager on our Card Credit Risk team to drive a variety of portfolio analytics and policy design initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance policies such as overlimit authorizations, payment holds, and suspension policies
- Provide credit-risk support for product/marketing portfolio initiatives (Balance transfer or promotional offers, retention / graduation, etc)
- Partner with product to use payment alerts, digital collections UX, and other levers to enhance on-time payment rates and encourage curing from delinquency
- Partner with operations on testing/optimizing payment programs, hardships, etc
- Develop and support strategic business initiatives such as migration of our legacy card product to our next generation cards
- Ongoing portfolio monitoring of policy actions and outcomes
Requirements
3-6 years of experience in consumer finance, consulting, or other data-driven backgrounds
Experience with credit and analytics, particularly in a credit card policy context
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations
Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python
Familiarity with LLMs and AI-enabled innovation
The ability to identify and articulate the business intuition in the data
Qualifications
Must have English language proficiency for all positions, as it involves interacting with staff at Upgrade's offices worldwide.
