Senior Manager, Digital Strategy - Shopper Funnel (Sam's Club)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Shopper Funnel Health to drive growth in the number of members shopping online and increase repeat engagement. This leader will own the end-to-end health of the digital shopping funnel—from visit to conversion to retention—and ensure a steady increase in active and returning eCommerce members.
What you'll do
Own the strategy to improve funnel conversion and repeat shopping behavior
Analyze funnel performance (traffic, conversion, frequency, retention) to identify gaps and opportunities
Partner with Marketing, Membership, Product, and Analytics teams to drive acquisition and engagement strategies
Develop initiatives to increase first-time online purchases and reduce friction in the shopping journey
Build programs to improve retention, repeat purchase frequency, and lifetime value
Define KPIs and build dashboards to monitor funnel health and member behavior
Lead cross-functional execution of initiatives and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Drive a culture of testing and continuous optimization across the funnel
Qualifications
6–10+ years in eCommerce, growth, marketing, or product roles
Strong understanding of digital funnels, conversion optimization, and retention strategies
Proven ability to drive measurable growth in user acquisition and engagement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working cross-functionally in complex organizations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in subscription or membership-based businesses
Familiarity with CRM, lifecycle marketing, or personalization tools
Experience with experimentation and performance marketing

Pay & Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in public relations, communications, or related field
OR 6 years’ experience in public relations, communications, or related area
