Senior Manager, Data Center Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager, Data Center Engineer will lead day-to-day operations of the data center team, assist with new builds, and collaborate with various departments to deploy new environments.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Lead data center operations, establish standards, and manage facilities.
• Data Center Facility Management: Manage relationships with colocation providers, oversee space and resource planning, and coordinate maintenance projects.
• Additional Responsibilities: Participate in on-call rotations, manage financial processes, and contribute to technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years managing multiple geographically diverse data centers, 5+ years managing technical teams.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, innovative mindset, extensive knowledge of data center practices, and familiarity with security frameworks.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
