About the role

As a family-owned company and one of the nation's leading frozen pizza manufacturers, technology plays a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations, warehouse network, and business growth. As the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure, you'll lead the strategy, governance, and execution of our cybersecurity program while overseeing the infrastructure that supports our Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to ensure our technology remains secure, reliable, and positioned for future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Oversee cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Secure enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, network architecture, and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Develop cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices aligned with recognized industry frameworks.
  • Lead cybersecurity planning for manufacturing systems, automation projects, and technology implementations.
  • Build and develop a high-performing Cybersecurity & Infrastructure team.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and executive leadership to strengthen organizational resilience and support business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and cybersecurity solutions that improve enterprise protection and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Eight or more years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network infrastructure, or IT operations.
  • Three or more years of leadership experience managing technical teams or enterprise security initiatives.
  • Experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity governance, cloud security, network infrastructure, identity management, and incident response.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, food production, or other industrial environments.
  • Experience securing Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • Experience leading cybersecurity transformation or digital modernization initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, GICSP, Security+, CySA+, CCNA, CCNP Security, Microsoft Security certifications (SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500), or equivalent industry credentials.

  • Protects enterprise technology assets through proactive governance, infrastructure security, incident response, and operational resilience.
  • Develops trusted partnerships across IT, Operations, Engineering, and executive leadership by translating technical risks into practical business solutions.
  • Leverages emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve cybersecurity capabilities and operational effectiveness.
  • Develops a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and security awareness.

Location

This position is based at Palermo's headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You'll split your time between the office, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse operations while partnering with Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, and executive leadership to strengthen cybersecurity and infrastructure across the enterprise.
