About the role
The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity serves as the enterprise leader for proactive cyber defense capabilities. This role leads the teams responsible for cyber threat intelligence, insider risk management, digital investigations, threat hunting, and strategic threat analysis. The position requires a combination of people leadership, technical expertise, and operational vision. The successful candidate will build and mentor a high-performing team of intelligence and investigative professionals while remaining engaged in emerging threats, adversary tradecraft, and intelligence-driven defense strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed team of intelligence analysts, insider risk investigators, and threat hunters.
- Establish a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, accountability, and innovation.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top cybersecurity talent while creating clear career development pathways.
- Lead the enterprise Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) program and intelligence lifecycle.
- Lead the enterprise Insider Risk program, including detection, investigation, and response activities.
- Lead advanced threat hunting operations across enterprise IT, OT, cloud, and identity environments.
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity liaison to government agencies, law enforcement organizations, and information-sharing groups.
- Develop and execute the long-term vision for intelligence-led cyber defense.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity and intelligence experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and intelligence lifecycle management.
- Experience within a government agency, department of defense, military cyber organization, or intelligence community.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cyber network operations, enterprise security architecture, and modern attack methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading insider threat or investigative programs.
- Experience conducting or directing complex cyber investigations.
- Strong knowledge of incident response, threat detection, digital forensics, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Knowledge of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and the Cyber Kill Chain.
- Experience supporting OT/ICS environments.
- Experience with security analytics, threat intelligence platforms, SIEM, UEBA, EDR, and SOAR technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as GCTI, GCFA, GCIH, CISSP, CISM, or CTIA.
