Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy

About The Team
The Customer Advocacy team is part of the broader Corporate Marketing team, focused on driving awareness, credibility, and presence among customers, prospects, partners, analysts, and influencers. This dynamic team includes functions such as communications, customer advocacy, and analyst relations, all working together to amplify the Outreach brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Advocacy Program: Own and grow Outreach's customer advocacy program end-to-end, from strategy through day-to-day execution, including creative incentives and recognition that make participation valuable for customers.
- Own the Reference Program: Manage the customer reference program in partnership with senior leadership, matching the right customers to the right opportunities across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Activate Customer Voices: Draw on the customer network to meet advocacy needs, such as securing speaking opportunities, curating case studies, and driving customer reviews on platforms like G2, TrustRadius, and Capterra.
- Build the Advocate Community: Cultivate a community of advocates, fostering meaningful connections and providing tools, support, and recognition for authentic sharing of experiences.
- Lead and Develop the Team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of advocacy professionals, setting clear priorities and creating growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a proven track record of connecting with individuals and fostering meaningful relationships, backed by exceptional communication skills.
- Experience leveraging customer advocacy technologies to streamline, automate, and optimize processes for increased efficiency and impact.
- Passion for customer experience and building rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to design, launch, and scale advocacy or influencer programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working with executive leadership and senior stakeholders to create high-trust, impactful experiences.
- Direct involvement with customer advisory boards and NPS programs is a plus.
- Proven ability to mentor, develop, and empower junior teammates, driving measurable improvements in performance.
- A team player, cross-functional influencer, and internal champion of customers.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $130,000–$165,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, location, and experience.
