Responsibilities
- Event Strategy & Execution
- Design, develop and manage complex internal and external event programs that deliver highly visible, business-aligned outcomes.
- Lead strategy and execution for over 150 annual tradeshows, including inventory oversight, partner coordination and evaluation of organizational memberships to support future growth.
- Oversee internal events and external events taking place within Netsmart buildings.
- Collaborate with Facilities, IT and Client Experience teams to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.
- Manage a calendar of associate engagement events to foster a connected and vibrant workplace culture.
- Support and evolve recognition initiatives and associate award programs.
- Lead all aspects of CONNECTIONS, the Netsmart annual user conference, including backend planning and multi-year contracting, logistics, catering, room setups and cross-functional coordination.
- Plan and execute large-scale corporate events such as user groups, retreats and bootcamps.
- Contribute to new event concepts, budgeting and strategic planning.
- People Leadership & Program Management
- Manage and mentor a team of eight associates, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on growth, accountability and development.
- Demonstrate strong executive presence while partnering with senior leaders to align event strategy with business priorities and drive impactful outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders regarding program objectives, outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Ensure completion of program deliverables and development of business processes that meet strategic goals.
- Monitor program performance against defined objectives and implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Lead process and program improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to work onsite in Overland Park, KS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 8 years of experience with program development or program management
- At least 6 years of experience managing financial budgets and/or accounting tasks
- Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to secure and deploy resources effectively and efficiently
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
