Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting
Position Summary

Role And Responsibilities
Management of Company’s full-cycle month-end close process, journal entry approval, accounting reconciliation, flux generation and review.
Perform GL Account risk-level review & analysis, inclusive of long-term open items, proper balance, resolution, and clearing plans.
Perform Technical accounting research and documentation, aligning significant transactions of the Company against IFRS reporting standards, providing technical examples, modeling, and clear and concise guidance and conclusions to the Company’s Business, Finance, and Sales teams.
Maintain knowledge and regularly update on new Accounting pronouncements and the potential impacts to the Company from a Financial and Reporting standpoint.
Aid in the Company’s risk assessment and analysis over Internal Controls, ensuring no deficiencies in Test of Design and Operating effectiveness of controls, along with recommendation of control implementation on new processes.
Familiarize with and utilize AI tools in order to identify transaction efficiencies to reduce hours, improve financial reporting, timing, and accuracy.
Monitor business units of the Company, identify risk points, and report and improve on Financial Health.
Support quarterly, annual, and ad hoc internal and external audits of the Company.
Assist as a finance representative of the Company on documentation requests, legal filings, and explanations pertaining to litigation.
Perform ad hoc projects and financial analysis based upon Leadership request.
Skills And Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a four-year college or university. 8-12 years of full cycle accounting experience with responsibility for General Ledger, financial analysis, monthly close, and technical accounting, or 6-10 years if candidate comes from Public Accounting assurance/audit experiences. Experience supervising activities of staff members in order to achieve personal and team goals, along with completion of assignments within established timelines and specifications. Proven record of leading innovative process improvement projects.
Preferred Qualifications: Public accounting experience and/or CPA strongly preferred. Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies. Strong attention to details is of paramount importance in this role. Diplomacy and ability to deal with difficult situations. Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills. Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel). V-lookup and Pivot tables (Macros a+). AI tool implementation and usage skills in the job function preferred. Attitude towards work and timeliness in completing daily tasks. Sense of urgency to get it done required. Relationship Management. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
