About the role

Own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale in the Manufacturing & Automotive industry. Partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. Strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Warren, MI. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and refinement of compensation structures for technology divisions
  • Translate tech business strategies into actionable compensation frameworks
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and leadership to devise compensation strategies for critical roles
  • Steer the evolution of job architecture for tech positions
  • Conduct compensation and workforce analytics to guide hiring and retention
  • Develop scenario models for proposed compensation changes and strategies
  • Oversee benchmarking and market analysis for tech roles, ensuring the company's compensation competitiveness

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, ideally in a tech context
  • At least 3 years in a leadership capacity within compensation
  • Proven expertise in designing compensation programs for technology roles, covering base, incentives, and equity
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, HRIS, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Deep knowledge of compensation survey methodologies and market pricing instruments
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership with data-driven insights and compelling narratives
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

Pay

$201,100 – $283,200 annually
