For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Senior Manager Commercial Finance to support financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance.

About the role

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead validation and assumptions of revenue pipeline
  • Collaborate with Sales and GMs to critically assess forecasts
  • Document and uphold defendable forecast assumptions
  • Align revenue forecasts with margin and liquidity conditions
  • Set and enforce standards for contribution margin
  • Review significant deals to safeguard against margin erosion
  • Serve as a financial advisor during commercial discussions
  • Identify and escalate key financial risks related to pricing and costs
  • Ensure alignment of revenue recognition with financial reporting standards

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in commercial finance or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of revenue forecasting and margin governance
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration
  • Experience in acting as a financial partner to business unit leaders
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on identifying margin leakage
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and deal review processes
  • Ability to challenge and influence decision-making in a commercial context

Pay

$125,000 – $150,000 annually
