About the Role

We are searching for a Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence who will partner directly with the Global Head of eCommerce to ensure our strategies, long-range plan, and annual operating budget are delivered across our top accounts and markets. This role will govern that the strategy is landing, that the revenue is materializing, and that there is active engagement at the market and account level to surface risks, weak spots, and untapped opportunities early enough to act on them.

Beyond governance, you will build and deploy the frameworks and global mandates, including Joint Business Plans (JBPs), that give our markets a consistent operating standard. You will also serve as a central point of synthesis, pulling together performance intelligence from across regions, channels, and accounts into a single, decision-ready view for the Global Head of eCommerce and senior leadership. We're looking for a rigorous operator who is equally comfortable auditing a market's account plan, building a framework from scratch, and translating a mountain of regional data into three slides a CRO can act on.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Global Head of eCommerce to govern delivery of the eCommerce strategy, long-range plan (LRP), and annual operating plan (AOP) across top accounts and priority markets.
  • Establish and run the governance cadence, business reviews, plan-vs-actual tracking, and gap-to-target reviews, that keeps markets and accounts accountable to committed numbers.
  • Identify at the market and account level where strategy execution, revenue delivery, or investment is off-pace, and drive corrective action with the relevant market and channel leaders.
  • Champion commercial excellence standards across markets, closing the gap between best-in-class and lagging regions.
  • Build, standardize, and deploy commercial frameworks, including the global JBP framework and standards, that markets and accounts operate against.
  • Define and roll out global mandates and playbooks, ensuring consistent adoption across regions and clear accountability for compliance.
  • Continuously refine frameworks based on what markets learn in-market, keeping global standards practical and current.
  • Bring together performance data, market intelligence, and account insight from across regions and channels into a single, coherent view for the Global Head of eCommerce.
  • Translate complex, multi-market performance into clear, decision-ready narratives and materials for senior leadership and executive forums.
  • Prepare the Global Head of eCommerce for key leadership moments, business reviews, budget conversations, and strategic decisions, with the analysis and framing to make them productive.
  • Act as a connective point across markets, channels, and functions, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce, commercial strategy, sales operations, revenue operations, or a comparable governance/commercial-excellence function.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold an organization accountable to a plan without owning it directly; strong influence without authority.
  • Proven track record building commercial frameworks, JBPs, playbooks, or global standards and driving adoption across markets.
  • Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills; able to move from raw multi-market data to a clear executive point of view.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence; comfortable engaging senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience operating across multiple global markets; comfort with the complexity of a matrixed, multi-region organization.
  • Experience in beauty, CPG, or a fast-moving consumer business is highly preferred.

Skills

  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Strategic thinker, business-minded, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Effective at managing workflows, monitoring performance, and driving follow-through.
  • Creative and proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and practical solutions.
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, accountability, and a strong learning mindset.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles.

Benefits

  • Annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
  • Health insurance.
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
