Senior Manager, Client Solutions & Planning - dentsu X US
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager of Client Solutions & Planning to join a newly expanded account. You’ll be the client-facing point person, ensuring communications strategies are converted into effective plans and leading their development and implementation. In addition to day-to-day client work, you’ll contribute to agency growth through training, new-business pitches, and setting the strategic tone for the account.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for media plan output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence
- Lead strategic media planning and execution; serve as a resource for direct reports and junior staff
- Utilize syndicated, proprietary, and analyst data to guide client marketing goals and shape strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with activation department leads to establish processes and timelines for flawless execution
- Adopt new techniques and technologies relevant to clients’ media strategies
- Provide insight into existing and emerging media opportunities through awareness of media-services vendors
- Build and maintain trusting, collaborative client relationships at appropriate levels
- Accurately represent the client’s point of view when developing and reviewing work
- Manage up and down the reporting structure effectively
- Share industry information on media, markets, and related dynamics
- Train, motivate, and develop the media planning group
- Construct and deliver accurate, honest, and timely performance-management documents
Qualifications
- 4.5+ years of media planning experience with a focus in Performance Marketing and Paid Search
- Experience managing client relationships
- Experience in traditional marketing and up-to-date knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional media
- Experience in digital marketing/media and up-to-date knowledge of trends and innovations in digital media
- Proven leadership skills and management experience
- Working knowledge of insights tools such as MRI and Simmons and competitive tools like Nielsen Ad Intel and/or Kantar Strategy
- Experience with media tools and buying platforms such as DDS, Media Ocean, and Spot Toolkit
- Solid understanding of DFA and other digital-media tools (comScore, eMarketer, Forrester, etc.)
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000–$90,000, based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Schedule
Employees within commutable distance of the New York City hub office are required to work in the office three days per week. Those outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on role and business needs.
