Senior Manager, Business Development

About the role

The Senior Manager, Business Development for Bio-Rad’s Clinical Diagnostics Group (CDG) will lead partnership initiatives to drive strategic opportunities with large, complex global organizations. They will also assess external opportunities by leading workstream diligence and developing business cases that align with CDG’s inorganic growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Leads partnership initiatives to drive strategic opportunities with large, complex global organizations
• Researches relevant markets in diagnostics using a comprehensive and self-directed approach including the latest tools for competitive intelligence
• Builds and maintains strong industry relationships and competitive knowledge
• Facilitates due diligence activities by partnering with internal cross-functional team members and external sources as needed in a timely and accurate manner
• Develops term sheets and leads contract negotiations with input from functional leaders
• Promotes strategic R&D by identifying core competencies and developing and supporting pilots projects for technology evaluations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in product marketing, finance or a scientific discipline
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) or equivalent background preferred
• 5+ years of work experience in business development in life sciences or clinical diagnostics industry

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $125,500 to $216,400 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States.
