Senior Manager, B2B and Channel Marketing
About the Role
ISC2 is seeking a Senior Manager, B2B and Channel Marketing to lead strategic marketing for B2B and channel growth within the global cybersecurity ecosystem. In this role, you will partner closely with sales, channel, and marketing leadership to translate commercial priorities into focused, insight-led marketing strategies that build demand, strengthen partner engagement, support pipeline growth, and deepen ISC2’s relevance with employers, enterprises, government organizations, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), training partners, and other partner audiences globally.
You will serve as the primary marketing partner for B2B and channel partner stakeholders, bringing strategic clarity, commercial judgment, and strong execution discipline to go-to-market activity across ISC2’s certifications, training, professional development, events, and membership value propositions. This role requires tailoring marketing plans to organizational buyers, cybersecurity employers, public sector and enterprise decision-makers, and ISC2’s distinctive partner ecosystem, including training partners, academic partners, associations, resellers, and other marketing or commercial partners.
This position is not available to residents of California.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the B2B and channel marketing strategy in partnership with sales, channel, and marketing leadership, ensuring plans align with commercial priorities, audience needs, and ISC2’s wider marketing approach.
- Serve as the senior marketing partner for B2B and channel stakeholders, providing strategic counsel, marketing recommendations, campaign planning, and performance insight.
- Build integrated demand generation plans that support growth objectives across clearly defined B2B audiences, including enterprise, government, SMB, employer, partner, and channel segments across relevant markets.
- Develop account-based marketing strategies and targeted campaign approaches for priority accounts, sectors, regions, or partner groups, where appropriate.
- Translate sales and channel priorities into clear marketing briefs, audience strategies, messaging frameworks, and activation plans that support pipeline development and account engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated B2B and channel activity across campaigns, content, events, digital, communications, operations, and analytics.
- Strengthen partner and channel activation across ISC2’s partner ecosystem through co-marketing, partner communications, sales enablement, campaign toolkits, event support, and clear value proposition development.
- Adapt ISC2’s value proposition for organizational buyers, employers, channel partners, and decision-makers while maintaining alignment with the broader brand and community narrative.
- Apply cybersecurity market insight, customer intelligence, competitive context, buyer understanding, and performance data to identify opportunities, improve targeting, and optimize activity.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for B2B and channel marketing, including engagement, lead quality, account progression, partner activation, pipeline influence, and campaign performance.
- Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and external partner activity to ensure high-quality delivery and measurable return on investment.
- Lead and develop direct reports by providing direction, coaching, prioritization, and support that builds capability and accountability within the B2B and channel marketing team.
- Provide clear reporting and recommendations to marketing and commercial stakeholders, identifying risks, opportunities, learnings, and next steps.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant responsibility for B2B demand generation, partner marketing, channel marketing, or account-based marketing.
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, including key market players, buyer groups, industry events, partner ecosystems, and potential marketing partnership opportunities.
- Experience partnering with sales, channel, or commercial leadership to build marketing plans that support pipeline, account growth, partner activation, or revenue objectives.
- Experience developing integrated campaigns across digital, email, paid media, events, content, social, partner, and sales enablement channels.
- Experience using CRM, marketing automation, and reporting tools to track performance, optimize activity, and demonstrate marketing impact; Salesforce and Marketing Cloud preferred.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, buyer journeys, partner ecosystems, sales enablement, account engagement, and campaign measurement.
- Experience marketing complex products, services, education, training, certification, technology, or professional development solutions.
- Global marketing experience and ability to adapt strategies across markets, regions, and stakeholder groups.
- People management or team leadership experience.
- Budget management and resource planning experience.
- Experience working with AI tools or a demonstrated willingness to learn.

Management Responsibility
The role manages three (3) direct reports. The scope of management responsibility may increase with team growth or if business needs change.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Up to 10% travel required.
- Work extended hours when necessary.
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.
- Regularly use office equipment, including a computer or laptop, and monitor computer screens.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $136,620 - $156,613 per year. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, and certifications.
This position is eligible to participate in ISC2's annual discretionary bonus program.
