About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Sales & Revenue - Cloud Services to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will oversee accounting operations tied to cloud revenue and cost close processes, with a focus on building scalable frameworks that support growth in a fast-moving technology environment. The position partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Financial Planning to prepare for new offerings, evaluate complex transactions, and strengthen forecasting support. The right candidate will also help shape accounting policies, improve reporting accuracy, and drive automation that enhances efficiency and compliance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead financial oversight of cloud revenue and cost closing processes
- Design and enhance scalable accounting processes for cloud-related activities
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure readiness for new cloud offerings
- Provide guidance on complex cloud transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Establish accounting policies and frameworks for accurate financial reporting
- Work with Financial Planning to analyze trends and support forecasting activities
- Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to improve process efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in accounting and 3+ years in management
- CPA certification and public accounting experience preferred
- Background in cloud, technology, SaaS, managed services, or subscription business models preferred
- Experience with large, publicly traded companies preferred
- Proficient in data analytics and financial principles with strong communication skills

Pay
$143,000 – $180,000 annually
