Senior Manager, Account-Based Experience - United States
This role is remote within the United States.
About the role
We are seeking a strategic, revenue-driven Senior Manager of Account-Based Experience to lead, mentor, and develop our ABX team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Demand Generation within the Revenue Marketing team, you will evolve our tactics into a holistic account-based experience framework. You will use data-driven orchestration to power both net-new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion and retention. You’ll partner tightly with cross-functional stakeholders to build highly personalized buyer journeys that drive pipeline velocity, revenue growth, and maximize customer lifetime value.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel, full-funnel ABX campaigns across tier-1 (1:1), tier-2 (1:few), and tier-3 (1:many) accounts.
- Balance campaigns to simultaneously penetrate net-new target logos and drive cross-sell/upsell pipeline within existing customer accounts.
- Align closely with MOPS, Field Marketing, Sales, and BD leaders to gain buy-in from leaders, ensure seamless marketing orchestration, and direct timely sales follow-up.
- Collaborate with sales and product marketing teams to identify key accounts, decision-makers, and critical influencers.
- Partner with content and field marketing teams to identify or develop tailored messaging, bespoke digital experiences, and high-impact assets for key buying committees.
- Build a scorecard to measure and report on performance while managing budgets and ensuring ROI.
- Stay updated with the latest ABM tools, technologies, and trends to keep our strategies ahead of the curve.
- Manage, guide, and upskill a team of ABX specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, data literacy, modern outbound strategy, and program execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into our programs and share with teammates.
- Build and maintain scalable ABX playbooks, workflows, and templates to standardize processes and streamline across the team.
- Oversee the internal ABX resource allocation and align day-to-day team execution with broader Revenue Marketing goals.
- Utilize signals, intent data, predictive modeling, and sales insights to define, segment, and maintain our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and target account lists.
- Employ tech to build automated data enrichment pipelines, identify key personas, and scale deeply hyper-personalized outreach.
- Collaborate with Mops on configuring and troubleshooting our ABX tech stack (e.g., 6sense, Salesforce, specialized gifting platforms) to power orchestration and tracking.
- Define clear ABX KPIs and regularly report on Account metrics: target account engagement, buyer’s stage movement, pipeline influence, deal velocity, and ROI to the Senior Director of Demand Gen.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of ABM campaigns and strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B revenue marketing experience, with a heavy emphasis on ABM/ABX, demand generation, or growth marketing.
- 1-2+ years of direct people management experience.
- A strong shift in thinking from "marketing to accounts" to "orchestrating unified experiences" across the entire lifecycle (acquisition, retention, and expansion).
- Hands-on, proficient experience using intent/orchestration, data enrichment/automation, and communication/engagement tools.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at managing and developing cross-functional relationships in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team with a winners’ mentality to consistently achieve shared targets.
- Strong ability to interpret data, measure success, and make data-driven decisions.
