Senior Management Analyst

About the role

The City is seeking an experienced Senior Management Analyst to join the Finance Department. This position is responsible for performing complex analytical, operational, financial, and programmatic assignments in support of departmental and organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical, operational, financial, and programmatic assignments in support of departmental and organizational initiatives.
• Report directly to the Finance Director.
• Manage complex assignments independently.
• Collaborate effectively across departments.
• Present information to executive leadership, committees, and the City Council.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and modernize business practices.

Requirements

• Progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, organizational improvement, compliance oversight, project management, and operational support.
• Experience in grants administration, procurement coordination, ERP systems, policy development, process improvement, and strategic project implementation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Innovative, adaptable, and capable of identifying opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and modernize business practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, organizational improvement, compliance oversight, project management, and operational support.
• Experience in grants administration, procurement coordination, ERP systems, policy development, process improvement, and strategic project implementation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Innovative, adaptable, and capable of identifying opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and modernize business practices.
