About the role
Join our team as a Senior Maintenance Technician in Steamboat Springs, CO! Do you take pride in solving problems, leading by example, and maintaining communities that residents are proud to call home? We're looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to play a key role in maintaining three of our workforce housing communities in Steamboat Springs and Hayden, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Organize, schedule, and oversee the maintenance workflow for the community.
- Work within established budgets and assist with managing vendor relationships and bidding processes.
- Respond to work orders and perform corrective maintenance with professionalism and resident focus.
- Cook up to move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
- Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance and property inspections.
- Participate in the on-call emergency maintenance rotation as assigned.
- Support a safe, clean, and attractive community environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience required, lead experience is a plus!
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
- Able to read and complete work orders and service requests.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance repair.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
- Able to participate in on-call emergency rotation.
- HVAC EPA Type ll or Universal certification preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance repair.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
- HVAC EPA Type ll or Universal certification preferred.
