Senior Maintenance Supervisor (Dual-Site)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our communities, Pendant on Topanga and Sync on Canoga (369 total units). This is an excellent opportunity for career growth in property management. On-site living is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate employee activities and outside contractors for building maintenance and repairs, as well as ground maintenance.
• Direct employees and contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance.
• Obtain and analyze bids from outside contractors, then submit them to superiors for approval.
• Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinate and inspect work performed by outside vendors to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to assess maintenance needs and required resources.
• Estimate worker hours needed to complete job assignments based on production schedules.
• Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and improve crew efficiency.
• Suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
• Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
• Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned.

Requirements

• Related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Experience in all trades.
• Excellent written, communication, and computer skills.
• Past supervisory experience.
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as required.

Preferred: Yardi experience.

Pay

$35.00–$40.00/hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
