Senior Mainframe Software Engineer / Security is a plus

About the role

A semi-conductor manufacturing company is looking to bring on a Senior Mainframe Software Engineer. You'll develop secure applications in complex enterprise environments. You'll evolve their platform to meet modern security standards and secure software development.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in mainframe development
• Experience working with mainframes and distributed systems
• Experience with COBOL, C, and Java development
• Deep experience modernizing legacy applications
• Experience developing mainframe and distributed systems

Qualifications

• Experience in application security, authentication and authorization, cryptography, and TLS implementations (a big plus)
• Cybersecurity experience or willingness to learn
