Senior Mainframe Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and implement changes for mainframe applications.
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities including analysis, design, and deployment.
• Develop Python components to support mainframe applications.
• Engage in technical and architectural discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate effectively with global virtual teams across multiple time zones.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Familiarity with System Z and enterprise-level mainframe environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global virtual team.
• Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player.
