Senior Machinist

About the role

The Senior Machinist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining precision machinery and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of machining processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate complex machined parts using advanced CNC machines.
• Oversee the quality control process to ensure all machined components meet specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes.
• Train and mentor junior machinists in best practices and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a machinist role.
• Proficiency in using various CNC machines and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
