Senior Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the corrugated box caser or Poly-Form/Fill Bagger and radial scale system according to manufacturer and departmental specifications.
• Perform machine changeovers per the production schedule.
• Aid shift mechanics with major repairs when needed.
• Ensure all operations align with food safety and quality standards.
• Ensure accuracy in packaging, weights, and labeling while maintaining compliance with HACCP, SQF, and food safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain cleanliness, and document production performance while achieving quality and efficiency targets.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain machinery using hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently (occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance).
• Stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, hot, humid, or wet conditions, with exposure to chemicals, solvents, and moving mechanical parts.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of five years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food manufacturing.

Pay

Pay range: $22 USD to $26 USD
