Senior Logistician

Responsibilities

• Integrate logistics processes within operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments.
• Direct the logistics process, develop support policies, procedures, and systems, and provide implementation guidance.
• Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support.
• Establish and enforce standards to ensure proper training and equipping of the assigned workforce.
• Develop, initiate, integrate, and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably in similar roles at NSWC Port Hueneme or other Navy locations.
• 10+ years of experience, ideally at NSWC Port Hueneme or another Navy location.
• Specialized experience: Logistics DAWIA Level 3 certified or equivalent.
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance required.
• Limited travel to the continental United States (primarily east and west coasts), possibly 1-3 trips per year lasting 3-5 days per trip.
• Overseas travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, any field preferred.
• Preferred certifications or skills: Logistics DAWIA Level 3 certified or equivalent.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
